| I like to write and play my music but that really has to come second to creating a good life for my wife and children. I see them every day. (They are my best customers.) Besides, meeting my wife and having children profoundly changed my life for the better. Recording and releasing new music just doesn't get done. There aren't enough hours in the day or energy in my heart to do more than I'm doing right now. |

| Ricky Skaggs "My Father's Son" (1991) Rarely do I find an album on which I like all the songs. This one is especially important to me because of it's strong ties with fathers and sons. The track, "Give Us A Happy Home," describes my life as a child. |
